Who saw "Monk" last night?
What a masterpiece. I cried and cried! This is a man who loved his wife. I asked my husband if he would be able to do what he did, and he said yes - somehow I'm doubtful!

3. That's a great show
What I like about it is that it reminds me of some of the old detective shows that I used to watch in the 70s. Great stories without tits, ass and guts. I don't mind those types of shows, but I give credit to the writers of Monk for concentrating more on the story lines.

6. Monk developed insomnia after bumping into a woman on the street
She apologized for bumping him, then proceeded. He seemed haunted and chased her for 2 blocks, but she vanished. He later saw her driving a cab and tracked her down through the "Caltrain" system. Turned out she had received a corneal transplant from his late wife Trudy - he had recognized Trudy's eyes.

This wasn't the main detective story of the episode - but was very lovely to see, and very touching.

10. Captain America.
That was the funniest side theme in the show.

And yes, the Trudy's eyes piece was a brilliant story line and well played by Shaloub.
