USC vs. Nebraska (Porn v. Corn)
Blackberry vs. Huckleberry. OK I'm ripping these off from the Jim Rome show but seriously...whoodaya like? As a Southern Californian, I hope USC gets their ass kicked.

1. I'd love to see a Nebraska win, but...
if I was betting, I'd give the points and take USC. I think USC wins big.

2. USC will prevail
I favor UCLA locally, but must defend the home turf above all.

In honor of a recently departed family member, who was a big Trojans fan, I am pulling for the Trojans! :toast:

4. Sorry to hear about your family member
But I'm still going w/ the Huskers! USC fans are so obnoxious and cocky. Plus Nebraska is in the middle of nowhere and their football team is their only life.

5. He was a great guy
Not cocky or obnoxious at all... he was a fantastic storyteller with a helluva sense of humor - a great father and grandfather (he was an extended in-law), and a generous Democrat. He was what a USC fan should be, not the youngsters at the games who don't know better. We used to good-naturedly rib each other at family gatherings, me pulling for UCLA or some other Pac-10 competitor, and so on. My wife and I will be thinking of him this evening - she was his favorite in the extended family. :-)

16. USC has 28 unanswered points
Thought it was gonna be better. In my industry, in this part of the world, it's rife with Trojans.
As a UCLA alum, I look forward to the city championship.

Hey Zomby

I always bet against USC. I am currently on the run from some loan shark named Biff.

EDIT: Wasn't the deal the Devil offered Dick Clark good enough for Muskberger? :)

8. I hope Cosgrove is out of a job...
We used to have a defense.

Whoever thought hiring a defensive guy from the Big 10 was an idiot. Oh wait, that was Callahan...

10. Why did Callahan go away from the pass?
Keller was in a rhythm, and the Trojans have been able to stop Lucky and the running game from the start. Looks like Stafon Johnson and C.J Gable are the new thunder and lightning.

11. Because he's an idiot.
No, really...one of life's great mysteries. And yet, very typical of Callahan. Whatever works, we best quit doing it.

12. SC's corners were playing 10 yards off the LOS!
If they're giving it to you, take it!

13. Oh honey, I KNOW.
Happened last year too. And pretty much every game we play. The short passes are open, as usual. But we insist upon running.

I don't get it. And, once again, if/when we lose, it'll be in large part because of Callahan's play calling. With a large dose of Cosgrove's inability to defend against a paper bag.

that was one of the biggest mistakes EVER. Cosgrove is a fucking joke.

15. When he was coaching the Raiders
it seemed he wouldn't run the ball if his life depended on it. Didn't Charlie Garner have like 93 receptions in 2002? If I recall, Rice and Brown both had 100+ catches and more than 1000 yards.

17. Until last year
he wouldn't run the ball at Nebraska either. But once we got quarterbacks who could actually throw, he refused to let them.

Pissed. Off. That is me at this point.

Bastard.

22. I wasn't paying close attention until I realized who it was.
Some woman was interviewing him and he said he had talked to the team before the game...that's where the comparison came in. It made me feel unclean! Maybe huskerlaw can add more to this...

25. Such a jackass.
I've only been out of Nebraska for 2 years, and I assure you, he was NOT an avid fan when I was there.

I had season tickets to Husker games from 1996-2003 and he was never at the games. This is a new thing, and it's complete bullshit.
