Poll question: When describing Bill Maher...
does one need to include "unfunny hack" (i.e. Bill Maher, the unfunny hack, said blah blah blah), or is the unfunny hack assumed?

2. Bill is the kind of guy that I probably wouldn't want to be friends with
but I still somehow manage to agree with almost everything he says, and he says it better than I can usually.

funny guy, smart guy

so i guess this means i am also not included in this poll

4. He's the kind of guy that I'd like to be friends with, in part because I don't always agree with him
He is funny and smart and not afraid to state what he believes. It's great having people like that in a circle of friends.

6. Wait. Where is the "Bill Maher is the funniest, coolest guy EVER!" option?

Sorry dude, I can't vote until the "Bill Maher is the funniest, coolest guy EVER!" option is available.

Robb is still a dingbat though, if it helps.

8. I think Maher is funny and provocative

Now that "Rome" and "The Sopranos" have ended, his show is the reason I keep HBO on my cable package. Do I agree with him all the time? No, but he is dead on target much more often than not.

9. I think Maher is funny... to a point
There's usually something about every 3 or 4 episodes that remindes me he's a liberatarian and not a progressive in the same way that we mean it.

10. His "New Rules" are usually pretty funny.
But his off-the-cuff remarks to his panel are only occasionally funny.

14. I think he's great
Not afraid to say what he believes and does so with a lot of passion. On top of that he's one funny bastard! I don't always agree with the guy but theres nothing wrong with a little difference of opinion. Hell in my own circle of friends polical leanings go from very liberal to hyper conservative.
