Who rocks out with a harpsichord? Modest Mouse rocks out with a harpsichord! |
|
And a violin, and a trumpet, and an accordian, and a stand-up bass, and a banjo, and--count 'em-- TWO sets of drums.
Pure goodness. :)

3. I celebrate their entire catalog. |

:D
I think all their albums are awesome.
Lonesome Crowded West will probably always be my favorite.
This is a Long Drive is a little rougher than the others but totally brings it.
Moon and Antarctica I seriously suspect is one of the band's favorites... they played a BUNCH of songs from that album that ROCKED HARD.
Building Nothing Out of Something has a more polished sound than most of their earlier albums, but DAMN that's some good Mouse.
Good News for People Who Love Bad News is a good album but it reminds me of my friend who died so I don't listen to it that much.
The latest... well, we listened to it for a week in Florida, and when I say for a week, I mean FOR A WEEK. So that's got awesome memories. :)
Good times.
