5. As well he should be
When you lose the Loser Bowl 38-0, something's amiss.

3. You know they are doing bad
when the announcers are finding postitives for ND like after a penalty it moved the ND offense into the Michigan side of the field for about the SECOND time..
So I wanna know if Charlie Weis is still an offensive genius?

7. Don't they normally get highly-ranked recruiting classes?
Charlie's staff doesn't seem to be developing all that talent very well. I have no idea as to whether there are a lot of underclassmen playing for the Irish. But for a place that routinely gets Parade All-Americans for recruits they shouldn't miss a step after graduation. However, that does not seem to be the case in South Bend.

8. I sure thought so.
I don't know what their issue is this year, I was under the impression that they thought they were gonna be pretty good this year.

But when the commentators afterwards say:

"Have you ever seen a worse Notre Dame team?"
"I don't think so..."

OUCH!

9. Has Notre Dame ever gone winless for the season?
With their upcoming schedule, they could quite easily be 0-8 when they play Navy in November. They've got Duke and Stanford, too, to end the season, but the way they looked today ...

10. I don't think so!
But since they just got their ass kicked by a team that lost to Appalachian State, I'd say it's quite possible.

Loser Bowl Part II should be interesting...when they play Duke!

11. I just checked their media guide, and it looks like the last time they had less than
4 wins was 1963--I think they're going to have a VERY hard time getting to four wins this year

(The by-season records that I saw only went back to 1940, and the fewest wins they have ever had since then was 2.)

17. Plenty of other teams lost good players and they don't suck.
However, Notre Dame's offensive line couldn't block me. The skill players look decent, but their line is woeful.
