If your 37th birthday were next Tuesday, what would you ask for? |
|
I can't decide what I want.
New cookware (I do really need)? MP3 Player (I've never had one)? Smelly-good girly stuff (...meh)? Clothes (I feel fat...not in the mood to try anything on)? Good bottle of booze?
Don't know what I want (besides a Carvel ice cream cake).

My 35th birthday is on 10/4 and that's what I'm going to ask for.

4. A trip somewhere you'd like to go? |
|
Even for just for the weekend.
I know it's not on your list, but I thought it might be a good gift anyway. And memorable.
(If you don't want that, get an iPod--I adore mine and didn't even think I would.)

5. Hmm, my 35th birthday is this Tuesday-- |
|
I just want books. I have a vacation the week following, so I should be able to squeeze in reading time. For me, a big pile of books and time enough to read them is my idea of paradise. Maybe with a nice glass of merlot or some 12-yr old Glenlivet.

6. being 8 years younger is more than enough present |
|
I don't think I would want anything else.
Okay, maybe it would be even cooler to rewind the last 8 years and somehow goto Florida and make it right. At least I could party like it was 1999.

When you get to be my age you lower the bar to success. Every day I open my eyes I am grateful for another day!
