I don't think it's a pejorative. Two of my children are full siblings, and my oldest daughter is their half sibling. We don't refer to her that way casually (we just say "sister" and "brother"), but it is certainly a biological fact.

If I were going to go the route of artificial insemination, I would be likely to choose someone whose physical traits matched my husband. I don't think looking for a blue-eyed blonde contributor makes someone an "Aryan Supremacist."

She's the one saying half sibling is not as good as a full sibling.

What is the difference if they come from the same DNA on both sides or not? It's not like they're gonna be identical twins, there are going to be differences in the DNA.

If they want to have another kid, just have one. I can't believe they are going to love it any less, or have any difference in the quality of life in any way whatsoever, if the sibling has brown hair. If they think otherwise, they have some issues.
