Are you still working with 3D? Here's my latest (and first - and last!) 3D model I made in Hexagon and then rendered in Carrara:

Took me two weeks to make the model; an actual loudspeaker, but I just had the dimensions to work with. But I wanted to complete it. ;)

I'm sure ZN's still working in 3D. Two weeks huh? I have the attention span of a gnat. No way could I spend two weeks on a project like that.

4. I was ready to give up many times,

but then, I promised to try it for a friend (who's the manufacturer of this loudspeaker.) I've never did modeling myself before.

The fun stuff (no, honestly, the awkward stuff was) to learn more as I went. So I ended up doing it from scratch numerous times. So I was like:



Unfortunately, I used Carrara a bit a few years ago but am not very familiar with it. And the rendering/posing software I use (Poser, DAZ Studio) automatically smooth the polygons, so flat surfaces end up rounded like balloons ... :( Only Carrara did read them right.
