I was SO smart when I started writing...
but by the time I finished working on my "argument summary and analysis," my brain was so fried that I couldn't understand what I had already written, and got angry at myself for using "too many big words."

I'm going to term this effect, "transient idiocy."

I poured over research, news, and other sources last night searching for a topic for another project. I came up with nothing.

In five minutes this morning, I hit on the perfect subject.

There's definitely something to be said for getting up and walking away from a project for a length of time.

Also, I had bad dreams about school involving assault with a stapler and ill-fitting undergarments.
