Anybody here realize Keith Olbermann had an emergency appendectomy on Friday night?

There were no less than 3 or 4 posts devoted to it. I'm not sure how he is doing now, but I'm going to assume that with this type of routine surgery he is doing fine.

Whats-her-name who was guest hosting Countdown last night mentioned it.

BTW, I don't think Countdown is quite the same without Olbermann. Besides, when he's not there, they don't do the Worst Person In the World.

is the last I heard. PR says he expects to be back at work later this week. We'll see.

I can't be bothered to watch when he's not there. His voice, his inflections, his sense of humor.... all that makes the show.
