Someone please explain to me why anyone would vote for a dimwit who said this:
This is my Bushism quote for the day:

"It's very interesting when you think about it, the slaves who left here to go to America, because of their steadfast and their religion and their belief in freedom, helped change America" - George W. Bush in Dakar Senegal July 8th, 2003

Did this dumbass actually say this in front of an African audience. Oh lordy!

1. He is such an embarassment
Yup, they cheerfully got on boats with their luggage and their passports, waved goodbye and sailed over here, past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. A new life! A new hope! A new beginning!

My aching ass.... :banghead:

8. His tribal sovereignty definition even got a chuckle from the press corp
"Tribal sovereignty means that; it's sovereign. I mean, you're a — you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities." —President Bush, Washington, D.C., Aug. 6, 2004

I wouldn't vote for a mayor if he talked like this.

10. It says more about the American people than it does
the chimp that the last two elections were close enough for the repukes to steal. All you have to do is listen to the idiot for five minutes to know he's a moron. He can't complete a single coherent unscripted sentence.

That the repukes had the nerve to foist him on the public in the first place is a travesty. That millions of people actually voted for the turd is almost beyond belief. George Bush is dumb, but the people who voted for him are even dumber.

If I imagine what he said happened it means all these slaves were just so happy to leave their home lands and work harsh conditions for a pittance.

16. I believe it..heres another nice one about Africans.....
"It was Condoleezza Rice, national security advisor, who helped her boss out of the embarassing situation. During a conversation between the two presidents, George W. Bush, 55, (USA) and Fernando Henrique Cardoso, 71, (Brazil), Bush bewildered his colleague with the question "Do you have blacks, too?"
Rice, 47, noticing how astonished the Brazilian was, saved the day by telling Bush "Mr. President, Brazil probably has more blacks than the USA. Some say it's the Country with the most blacks outside Africa." Later, the Brazilian president Cardoso said: regarding Latin America, Bush was still in his "learning phase".
Although I must say snopes can't confirm or deny this, somehow this seems quite in character

Exactly how much was inaudible? There could have been some sentences in there that would have changed the meaning drastically.
