Anyone been watching Damages?
A real scary program about ruthless actions that lawyers and other powerful people take to... mostly stoke their egos.

As with "24" I literally sit at the edge of my seat and the hour really flies quickly.

We missed the first two episodes so we taped them over the Labor Day Marathon and the first two hours were really cold and manipulative and, yes, scary.
