I think anti-smoking ads on TV are a good thing |
|
but I'm really pissed I have to see a chunk of fat being removed from a woman's neck, or a gangrenous foot with a missing toe while I'm eating cereal in front of the TV. Often I can't reach the remote quick enough before I'm totally grossed out and can't eat.
I thought health advocates believed eating breakfast was a good thing.

7. It seems to be fashionable to write "nice post, Hitler" following ... |

...anything opinionated. It has become kind of a running joke where any sort of societal criticism must include a "nice post, Hitler" response. I thought substituting Hitler with Kitties that look like Hitler (Kitlers) broke the monotony.

2. anti-smoking ads serve one purpose |
|
to remind smokers to light up. Just my take on it, but as a fairly light smoker, I've noticed that when a smoker sees another smoker light up or even talking about smoking positively or negatively, it makes him or her want to smoke. If I am hanging out with non-smokers, I barely even think of it, and can go a long time without wanting one. If I am hanging out with smokers, I tend to light up more.
This conspiracy theory brought to you by the letter "T"

4. that's exactly how I was when I used to smoke |
|
the thing that saves me now is my gf goes absolutely ballistic if I have a cigarette. It's much more frightening to me that the prospect of coronary disease - often I'm tempted when i see a friend light up, but it's not worth the wrath that will come down on me.
