Milestone reached in the DTBK household

Mr. DTBK turns 50 today - UNBELIEVABLE. The other day he received his application to join AARP. In my mind I'm still 8 years old, looking forward to discovering life (surprising to be so optimistic in these troubled times) - he probably feels the same way. I do the same thing - instead of stating my age, I always have to say how old I'll be on my NEXT birthday. I don't know why I do that!

I didn't interview with the managing attorney, but a supervising attorney. They're hiring several people, so I hope I will be one of them. I would think I'd have a good chance because I'm already licensed and have legal aid experience, but you never know. They'll be interviewing people the rest of the week, so I think I'll know something early next week.
