Yesterday was primary election day, and I made it to the runoff.
I'm running against another Democrat, a good-old-boy crony Dem.
Yesterday, Good Old Boy and I finished three votes apart out of almost 600 cast, each with about 37%. A Republican candidate picked up 26% and was eliminated. Since I think I can pick up a lot of Republican's votes (relax, it's because of local issues unrelated to the national stuff), I have a strong shot at knocking off the do-nothing incumbent!
