3. Some of the songs are very layered, others less complex |

I've only listened all the way through once so I can't cite a lot of really specific stuff right now, but I'd say it's a much more consistent and focused album than Houses of the Mole was. Some of the lyrics are brilliant, as is some of the use of sampling. The very long sample of Eisenhower's Farewell Adress (the Military Industrial Complex speech) is used well, particularly.
If you don't like his current sound I can't promise you'll dig it, but it's the best effort within that framework by far.

with these guys after Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste and Psalm 69. Is the new one at all similar? I should still pick it up - evolution can be a good thing, right? Thanks for the rec. KJ

4. Thank you for breaking apart the country music bias of the past two days. |

Burning inside.
Good news about Ministry. I haven't enjoyed them much since and pretty much including Psalm 69. Something seemed missing..
If you like Ministry, you might enjoy the last Killing Joke album, "Hosannas from the Gates of Hell."
