KitchenWitch is gonna call me a sissy, but |

I am FREEZING.
It's in the mid-60's outside, which actually feels nice. But the air conditioner in my office is still cranked to Labor Day weekend levels. I'm wrapped in a hoodie (which is seriously messing up my otherwise cute outfit) and my fingers are blue. My toes have been numb for hours.
Why is it that office buildings never seem to be able to adjust to outside temperature changes? x(

I've been wearing a hoodie all summer... and as for those cute skirts and dresses and cute shoes... I never get to wear them. It's just too cold. ALL SUMMER LONG!

2. We fought with the maintenance people |

for over a year, but generally speaking, the temperature in this building is acceptable. Well, except in the winter, when everyone uses space heaters. ;)
I really haven't had much to complain about all summer. But when the daytime temperature in LA varies maybe 50 degrees total in an entire year (and hardly ever a big swing from one day to the next), the inside temp SHOULD be correct and constant, imo. Especially since those 50 degrees are (usually) quite temperate. Sigh.

3. And all across the Northland... |

Minnesotans, Wisconsinites, North and South Dakotans, and others chuckle quietly to themselves...

4. Well, I'm not in Minnesota |
|
but I'm not in Los Angeles either.
Chuckle away, but one day last week it was 66 degrees outside and it was warmer out there than it was in my office.
There is NEVER any need for an office to be cooler than 66 degrees.

5. Ugh, that's a bit chilly |

I fail to see why you can't have a thermostat in your office suite. Or at least be able to close the vents!

so trust me, I chuckle to myself at times too.
It's the over-a/c that's the killer though, not so much the 65 degrees outside.

But we don't dare ask them to turn it down, or next week, when the temp is back to normal, we'll be frying! GAH!

You should have seen all the school children this morning in their heavy sweaters and jackets.

9. I get cold very easily, so even though I'm from Minnesota, I won't tease you. |
|
It's 70 degrees in my house, and I'm wearing a sweater AND a hoodie.
