Note to MSN: Please stop using bad puns on the news.
Just tonight on the CBS evening news, this is what they had "Angry cruise passengers send Congress an SOS" and talked about the problem of bears coming into residential neighborhoods "over-bear-ing". Of course, this happens all the time, but tonight it put me over the edge.

Can't we get through the news without these pathetic attempts at humor? Is this Sesame Street for adults or something? You want a list of my pet peeves, this is probably at the top of the list.

1. Yes, leave the puns to the BBC, who know how to do them properly.
It demeans the news when they go for asinine puns (except when the British do it - they manage to do it with class and a sense of intellectualism).
