High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has split with her boyfriend and co-star Zac Efron, and is considering posing for a men's magazine - according to reports.

Hudgens, who was involved in a nude photo scandal earlier this month, split with boyfriend Efron while he was overseas, OK! magazine reported. The mag said Hudgens was seen with another man at a Hollywood Hills party while Efron was in Australia to promote the movie Hairspray.

Eyewitesses told OK! magazine that Hudgens was "all over" her older date, and when someone asked her about Efron she "threw a fit".

Meanwhile, the Starpulse entertainment blog reported Hudgens is considering posing for a men's magazine - but has ruled out a spread in Playboy. "I think being a woman and being able to show a sexy side is empowering," Starpulse reported Hudgens as saying. "Being able to show we are comfortable in our skin is a good thing. I totally would pose for a sexy magazine. But not Playboy."

Zac is probably thinking about his career at Disney and see's her as tarnishing his good boy image. This girl will go far.Not sure if these pics really were leaked by an ex boyfriend or by her but either way,she is pretty smart.

...if she wants to pose in magazines, then the magazines will be stepping all over themselves to sign her up.

I see the boyfriend as Tiger Beat "flavor of the month." Hudgens is in it for the long haul. Careers are made or broken by doing what she's doing. She might be one of the ones who makes it. She definitely doesn't need Disney, and she seems to understand that.

did posing nude hurt Madonna? Vanessa Williams? I think this girl is smart and yeah, she is beautiful! I saw the photo and though if this is a amateaur candid with poor lighting,imagine what a professional shoot would look like. She has an amazing body and any guy who truly loved and respected her would support her. Zac is either a closet case, a prude, or just looking out for his career and pleasing Disney. Vanessa will last longer than Zac. Checked out IMDB and you should hear the awful things her "fans" are saying about her. Why is nudity always associated with sex?

I have no problem with the nude pictures - all the better for her. She's cute - she should flaunt it.

But I'm thinking that she's heading down a slippery road where there may be no point of return. The difference between Vanessa vs. Madonna and/or Vanessa Williams is that Madonna & Vanessa were never darlings of the Disney crowd.

She may have a cute body but if the girl can't act or sing (and I think another poster mentioned that) then she could turn into the next Britney or Lindsey - that is a scary path to take.

Just curious, though - and not to start an argument or anything, but are you saying you think she's a good singer, actor? (I'm not sure about the dancing part, really as I've not watched more than a few seconds at a time.) Of course I've heard it quite often! (I have a young one in the house who LOVES HSM. )


Oh - and another thing, I have a theory that Michael Jackson wrote/choreographed a lot of those songs - and Disney is keeping it hush hush (due to the obvious public opinions. :( ) - but they sound - and look sooooooo classic MJ. At least (again) IMO. Does anyone else think he could be the writer/choreographer?

My ten year old daughter loves Vanessa, as well as Ashley Tisdale, Miley Cyrus and Emily Osment.

I know that posing for a 'sexy magazine' doesn't mean Miss Hudgens has hopped the self-destruction express, but we'll see. I'm prepared to discuss with my daughter how one of her TV idols is an adult who is comfortable being photographed nude, and there is nothing dirty or wrong about that.

Depending on the pictures, I may have to alter my position on this matter.

If there is a glistening horse penis anywhere in the frame, for instance...
