Need advice: Should I sell my house & rent or Fix up a moneypit

I am going to look at a house for rent in a couple of hours. My house needs major work. Major work. New corner foundation poured, wrap-around porch needs rebuilt, sewage issues....It is a huge project & a huge house. I have held on this long because it is in a GORGEOUS location in a town that the real estate is starting to pop in despite the overall housing crash. I have been living in renovation for five years now & I am starting to lose my mind....

Any thoughts or advice from anyone who has been through this?

Financially, what is the best move?

Thoughts?
