Sean Penn's new movie "Into The Wild " sounds interesting. Veder on the Soundtrack
Read the book by Jon Krakauer (Into Thin Air). Read some prelim stuff on the movie, sounds better than the book. Just heard a cut from the soundtrack and it was awesome.

1. And it was "actually" filmed in Alaska
not Washington like most other movies about Alaska. That makes it all right in my book.

2. Shit. I have to hurry up and read the book then...........
I'm sure Penn will do a good job, but its never as good as the novel.

I love Krakauer's work, even though Under The Banner of Heaven was depressing as all get-out.

6. Into the Wild is the most depressing nonfiction book I have ever read.
It's right in there with Where the Red Fern Grows if you count fiction too. :(
