What song snippet should a "musical thermometer" play at what temperature?
Imagine one of these little electronic thermometers that go under the tongue and read out quickly. Now, bear with me here, imagine that in addition to the digital readout, it plays a musical clip that indicates what your temperature.

What songs should it play?

I'm thinking along the lines of:

< 98-degrees = Foreigner "cold as ice, you know that you are..."
98.7 = REM "it's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine"
100 = Beyonce "you give me fever, fever in the morning, fever all through the night..."
102 = Madonna "burning up, burning up for your love"
103 = Van Halen "somebody get me a doctor, somebody get me a doctor..."

1. My baseline temperature is not 98.6, but 96.8
Maybe "Cold-Hearted Snake" would be my song!

2. I will not allow my musical thermometer to play Beyonce.
Seriously...Beyonce does a version of Fever? Ack.

How about the Heat Miser song? BNL has a great version of it.
