I'm at the start of Chamber of Secrets - I want to read them all through again with no breaks for other books as swiftly as is feasible. A book marathon, if you will :-)

i am flattered. :)
it happens to be my favorite line from the harry potter books, i mean, aside from like the dramatic stuff.
it's just so grotesque.
definitely set the tone for the rest of the book.

Rowling does have ups and downs in her writing, and that chapter: pure goodness. Pure, pure, gooey goodness. :D
