Poll question: Favorite Type of Alcohol?
My favorite is Canadian Whiskey, which I guess would go down with the likes of Jack Daniel's and Evan Williams.

1. "girly" drinks?
:wtf:

I used to drink tequila straight on the rocks. No salt. No lime. And I'm a "girl". Is THAT a "girly drink"?

6. yikes -
be careful, though - you don't want to mix too much alc and pills, you know?

Hope you feel better soon!

I used to love those big ol' guys teasin' me about drinking 'water'.

"Sure, want a sip?"

"uh - okay" splutter splutter splutter - "what the hell IS that?"

"Tequila."

or the guys who wanted to "teach me" how to drink the tequila and go through that whole lime, salt, ritual.

I'd just give 'em a big old innocent stare and say, "really? I always just throw away the lime, brush off the salt and drink the tequila!" slam.

There went THEIR hopes of trying to get me loaded. lol. I used to have to drive *them* home and drop 'em off.

Spelling Check is your friend. ;-)

I had a root canal done today. Just got back from a lengthy meeting. Just took meds. 1 double of Tequila + 3 Vicodins = Bliss.

No Fear.

15. When I still drank, going back more than 5 years now, it was beer, vodka, kahlua, and rum
Edited on Thu Sep-20-07 11:53 PM by BlueIris
in that order. Unless I had to--at a party or similar situation--I pretty much stuck to the beer. Which is why I think it's good I lost my taste for the stuff, because I was becoming quite the beer snob there toward the end.

21. I'd wager you're talking abour REAL cider, not that 'malt beverage' crap you can find at
liquor stores.

I'm brewing some cyser right now, that's cider and mead mixed together. Gonna be good, and it'll probably end up around 12% alcohal.

26. something I make at home...
Some of it is great, some just good and I have had a few bottles go bad...but usually pretty good. This year the grapes are bad with mildew. But we have lots of apples, so 17 gallons of Cider are in 3 bottles with fermentation locks. We will press more too.

though perhaps gin, or if I'm in the right mood gin.

I do also drink plenty of wine, beer when I'm in a pub, Pimm's in the summer, whisky and brandy from time-to-time...
