Me: How about some milk then?
Son: NO
Me: Alright, dates perhaps?
Son: NO (reaches for the dates bag).
Me: Here's a date... (handing him a date)
Son: nooooo*smdpsf* (starts munching date)
Me: Was that good? Want another? (after he finishes the date)
Son: no. (reaches for another date)
Me: Thought so. Look, it's mom (mom walks into room)
Son: Hi. (waves at mom, sorta)
Me: Hey, you didn't say no!
Son: NO!
Me: What?
Son: woof!

Ahhh, good times. Wouldn't trade them for anything.
