6. it is, but it's under a different ownership |
|
and it has gone downhill.
Periwinkles is the Italian I was thinking of, and Ronnie's is the fried seafood.
Of course, there's always Chuck's Steakhouse too.

I like Leo's too if you don't mind driving out to Shrewsbury St.

that's not too far of a drive. I hear Shrewsbury St. is where a lot of good restaurants are. I can't believe I've lived in the area for almost 8 years and I've never been there.

13. I once enjoyed eating at Olive Garden, but the last 3 times I've been |
|
I was sorely disappointed. And it was 3 different Olive Gardens, so I'm thinking it's not a local problem but a systemic one.

My marriage is definitely ending andthat has me pretty lost and depressed, but otherwise im just sick about a government that wont do anything about a horrible war but has plenty of time to debate a newspaper ad.

Try to find even just the smallest bit of bliss every day... in something. It can be something simple, like dinner out, or a good book, a hot shower, even a ray of warmth from the sun.
Even just a moment's pause to enjoy the simplest thing... it helps, trust me.

11. I don't know of any good Thai restaurants near me either |
|
When it comes to Asian restaurants I usually don't go to one unless I get a recommendation. I'm too afraid of being disappointed.

5. Indian places always seem to have the best service, in my experience |
|
typically I do take-out and bring it home, but since I would guess you're looking for a night out away from home - Indian is where it would be for me

8. where do you get your Indian? |
|
I think you're somewhere in between where I work and where I live, so it's not inconceivable for me to stop in your area on the way home--if you can recommend a good Indian restaurant.

14. I used to go to a place simply called "Welcome" on Route 9 in Framingham |
|
but now I live up on the Northshore so I go to a place called " The Jewel in the Crown" but I suspect that's way out of your range.

If I were to get off the Pike at Rte. 9, would I need to go east or west to get to "Welcome"
The Northshore is lovely. My boss lives in Gloucester.

I think it would after 2 lights, after the exit for FSC and under the bridge on the right.
It's not much of a place to look at, and it's right on the highway, but the owner is a really great guy and the service has always been good as well as the food.
It's a small place, big yellow sign on top
On the OTHER hand, if you want Chinese - the Imperial China is your best option for the area. That's on the West-bound side, after making a UTURN after going under 125 - I think
