I give that department 18 months before there is a meltdown. Everything else is fine but they are just "sloppy" as the report says and that is understating it.

on and I DID fill out a sick leave form. I mailed to my boss yesterday. I hope she gets it today.

Long story but they didn't want me around and I knew I had to leave. That is why I started losing weight back in February. They had no idea.

They wouldn't issue your last paycheck unless you were there on your last day to sign out.

They also tried to make you work on your last day before retirement. Nice way to penalize people who were retiring because they were too sick to come to work anymore. They revoked that policy when threatened with a lawsuit under the Disabilities act (a colleague who'd worked there for thirty years before the metastases went to her brain - what was their excuse?).

I'm glad they fired me.

I checked the employee handbook and there was nothing about it. The problem wasn't the place I worked it was BOTH of my bosses (2 bosses for 4 employees)
