Not sure if this is a good thing or not

I went to the gym today and took a new class. During the class our instructor said We need more red in here.... don't forget we wear red shirts every friday till our troops come home..... I wasn't wearing red because I didn't know about it and there were a couple of other woman not wearing red also ....
I am not one to walk up to people and ask them if they are a democrat or a repug.... I also don't know if this is the instructors idea or the gyms...
So should I wear a red shirt next week ??? or not???
I actually would have to buy one....

Most people over here don't really give a shit who you vote for, and we may discuss politics but only in a water cooler or pub type situation.

You can view much of American politics as a Manchester Utd v. Liverpool (or maybe Chelsea these days) sort of thing, but I have never understood why. We just seem to apply sports-type loyalties to many, many things on this side of the pond.

Can you imagine the chaos you could create if you:

A: Found a bunch of wingnuts,
B: wrapped yourself in a flag and
C: get them to join hands and sing with you?

If they agree, you know they're thinking the choice of song will be along the lines of "God Bless America" or "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." Of all the songs these folks might assume, "The Theme from Green Acres" would probably not make the Top 100. Bonus points if you could get them to start over if they screw up the lyrics.
