Interpret a dream for me. |
|
This morning, about ten minutes before my alarm went off, I dreamed that I was at the ATM trying to withdraw thirty pounds. It gave me my money in pound coins, which I was not very happy about. (This ATM had a pan at the bottom where the coins came out of, like a fruit machine. I know, my mind is weird).
As I was collecting my coins, some kid a few yards away pointed at me and said something like, "hey look at the GEEK!". I replied, rather annoyed, "watch who you're calling a geek!" Even though the kid was in fact quite correct.

And you want to kill your father, and take his place.

2. Clearly, you are to go to the nearest slot machine--and you |

will win! (Geek will be used in a most appreciative context when you hit the jackpot, of course.)
Written by mother of geek, and probable self-geek, btw.

buying my barley drink, the cashier didn't have any £5 notes so she gave me change from my £10 note in pound coins, so my wallet is now weighed down with metal for real.

Freak, geek. I am a freaky geek. Or a geeky freak. Perhaps both.

I think getting the coins instead of pound notes indicates that you should not expect things to come in certain forms -- open your mind to receiving things in different shape or form. They're just as valuable.
As for the kid, he is you. People in dreams are parts of yourself. You apparently think of yourself as a geek. Let go of that image and think of the image you want to be. I think of you as a kind person who always seems to have a minute for a friend. That's not a bad image.

I guess I was playing, but thanks for your consideration. It was an odd dream though and since it happened just before I had to get up, it stuck in my memory.

Your Dream: I was at the ATM trying to withdraw thirty pounds. It gave me my money in pound coins, which I was not very happy about. (This ATM had a pan at the bottom where the coins came out of, like a fruit machine. I know, my mind is weird). As I was collecting my coins, some kid a few yards away pointed at me and said something like, \"hey look at the GEEK!\". I replied, rather annoyed, \"watch who you\'re calling a geek!\" Even though the kid was in fact quite correct. Words like money: Commodity. Profit or loss. Security. What do you value in yourself?
Words like coins: Small value. Distracted by lesser concerns.
Words like kid: Childhood. Innocent. Joy without profit. Warning of family quarrels.
Words like yards: Enclosure. Residence. Need to be more aware of your personal space.
Words like watch: Time. Limitation. Ready to discover what emotional field surrounds you.

your returns on your life investments.
You want to have "real" money an not coins dropped out against your plans.
You need to reach out to the real world to get that.
You're tired of feeling like you put things into relationships and get no return.
