bouncing back between the two. I hate all the spritzing that goes on at Macys though.
I'm happy to be in Chelsea now, a block and a half from the 5 th Av Sephora!

40. Come down and visit!!
Well, let me get my second bedroom and some living furniture first.

I'll take you to Franklin Mills Mall - nothing rules like finding bargins at Last Call Neiman Marcus or Saks Off-5th Avenue (they are the outlet stores for the big guns). Only problem is those stores are in Pennsylvania which means there is sales tax. Also the Cosmetic Counter rules - Estee Lauder Outlet store

3. Bare escentuals face powder, eye shadows, and rouge
are great for me. I can apply it in the morning and it stays the same all day. Being so WASPish, my skin is so thin and BE really evens out my skin tone and gives me a healthier appearance.

I do get some skin care and lipsticks from Mary Kay because my niece sells the stuff on the side and I enjoy that stuff too, esp the micro dermabrasion kit.

It does what it is supposed to do; and just a very small amount. I have the tube, not the whole jar; and have had it for a few months. You don't need much of it.
However, I have these HUGE pores on my nose, and it really dosen't seem to help cover those much. I've been rec'ed Clinique's pure pore, so I think I'll try that next.

Several ladies on several boards I frequent swear this works just as well:

Seriously.

the gel soother. it now comes in unscented and some other scent. obviously i recommend the unscented. i've tried many other primers and the Monistat gel soother works as well or better than all of them.

apply it to the face like you would a moisturizer and then follow with regular makeup?

45. i apply all my "regular" moisturizers first then the gel
i.e.:

layer of aloe vera gel
layer of light moisturizer
layer of oil-free sunscreen

then apply small amount of Monistat gel.

i use mineral foundation, and it goes on perfectly over the Monistat gel.

basically, just apply the Monistat gel lightly over whatever you use to moisturize, protect from sun, etc.

8. revlon and clinique
love the revlon colorstay foundation

when I was younger my mom and I used to hit the clinique counter, so whenever I hear Bonus Time I go into a frothy teenage frenzy. Then I found the magic of the outlet stores, one make-up store sells the off-season clinique bonus stuff (w/out having to purchase something for 19.50) and I go bucknuts.

12. I only use Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals.
Except for ONE exception - I use MAC blush. They have the absolute perfect shade for my skin and if they ever stop making it, I'm going to cry my eyes out! Other than that, ever single bit of makeup that goes on my skin is Bare Minerals. I love it and it makes me look beautiful. :)

20. !! Her Face Polish is my FAVORITE!!
I can't say enough about this product! Cleanses and exfoliates my skin wonderfully, without ever drying it too much! Leaves it soft and supple. I use it in the shower, and as soon as I get out, my face is ready for lotion. I just love it.

18. I do like Smashbox's lipsticks.
Other than than, though, they have failed to impress.
Just got started on my MAC collection.
Benefit is ok. Dying to try the realness of concealness to see if I like any of those products.
The Chanel Double Perfection base has been my staple for years now. It lasts forever and gives me good coverage, wet or dry. I found that liquid foundation breaks me out now that I'm in my 30s.

I am constantly hovering around Makeupalley, Spektra, Icompact, and my home board of Stripperweb always has good advice for me too.

REally wanting to try the new MAC paint pots, hearing nothing but raves about them.

I can't put on a lot of dark eye makeup, because it makes me look older and my eyes look sunken in. Just my face shape I guess.

The other think I haven't tried that everyone is always RAVING about is the Urban Decay Primer. Hope to score that soon too.

and all their great skin CARE products.

I buy their skin care products when the promotion is out, and get all my eyeshadows and lipsticks free, plus numerous other things as well.

I occasionally use L'Oreal foundation that offers more coverage than the ultralight Clinique one and I am always experimenting on the mascara

Okay, I just made that up. :D I have such long eyelashes that unless you get really close, it looks like I'm wearing eyeliner. For weeks after I met the future Mrs. Aristus, she was convinced I was wearing eyeliner. She kept trying to catch me off guard putting it on or taking it off. She just REFUSED to believe that it's all natural, baby. B-)

I never needed it. I never had any trouble attracting men, with or without makeup, when I was younger.

I guess if I had to pick, I'd pick that anti-allergenic, liquid, waterproof, eyeliner.

Almay? I'm not sure anymore. I barely have any blush or eye shadow or anything new.

I probably should throw out what I do have although I still don't use it! :P
