My sister made a compilation CD for me and a love every song on it. It's all older stuff. I've heard a few of their songs off of their newest CD, and while I like "Knights of Cydonia" and another song I can't think of the name of right now, I wasn't too impressed with "Super Massive Black Hole."
Here are the songs on my compilation CD:
Apocalypse Please Blackout Bliss Butterflies and Hurricanes Can't Take My Eyes Off You Endlessly Falling Away With You Fury Hysteria Interlude Intro Muscle Museum Ruled by Secrecy Sing for Absolution Stockholm Syndrome The Small Print Thoughts of a Dying Atheist Time is Running Out

1. Saw them play in Irvine last night. Fucking amazing show. |
|
I love how they played Knights Of Cydonia and flashed the lyrics on the huge monitors behind them. Then in between the encore and the time they came back out on stage, they ran an excerpt of JFK's inaguartion speech. I'd highly recommend going to see them live.

Do you know if they are coming around Ohio way on the tour? That's where I'm from.

3. No, tonight is the last show of the tour. |
|
They said at the end that they will be planning another tour though.

5. I've heard that comparison before |
|
But I haven't really listened to a whole lot of Radiohead. But from what I hear Radiohead is a highly regarded band and I would think that having them as an influence would not be a bad thing unless Muse was just a total rip off which I don't think is the case.

8. I've listened to enough Radiohead and Muse to know that the similarity is usually overstated. |
|
There are similarities, especially in Bellamy's vocals, but musically, they're pretty different.

I first saw them at Chelmsford Y Club when they were still unsigned and I've been a fan ever since.

7. They were one of my favourite bands once upon a time. |
|
I didn't really get into their new album though. "Origin Of Symmetry" is probably my favourite album of theirs.
