8. Actually, that IS the right way

For the same reason that historically only female witches are shown on brooms... because the broom, in reference to witches, was a phallic symbol. :P

It's only in recent media that it's been turned the other way, and you'll have male and females riding it. Some 'coven' in england made a big noise about the Harry Potter movies and how they were casted spells to make the movies fail because it was an innacurate depiction of witches and broomsticks.

All of my pagan friends thought those people were nuts. :)

I am much better. About Friday - sometimes being a mom is, well, a bit heavy duty. Had a very hard day with my daughter on Friday (Public Service Announcement: never give birth to an extremely willful child).

This past weekend was very busy, we finally got our piano moved out of our garage and into our house, we set some old furniture out on the curb, posted CL ads telling people to just come and get it. And went to the SoCal MN Vikings fan club meeting yesterday (we watched the Vikings lose x( ).

All in all, I was pretty wiped out after all of that.
