HELP! I was watching The Black Dahlia and fixing dinner for my son

and a friend. I missed one very important part. What the hell was the deal with Madelian's (sp?) dad and Georgie? I know Georgie was her father and that was what set her 'dad' off, but what the hell happened to his (Georgie's) face??? I had to get the chicken out of the oven right then.
