Love comes in all sizes....
Edited on Sun Sep-23-07 12:38 PM by ElsewheresDaughter
For all the good Christians who tell me that animals have no souls by the design of God and therefore will not be with them in their Christian heaven, enjoy yourselves in your exclusive little private club.... a place I would not even want to visit.

All my friends and pets, my Heaven will be in a different place where there is love and happiness.

Love comes in all sizes....

Your Friends will support you....

And respect your creativity
For thinking outside the box....

They'll be there when you need a
Shoulder to lean on....

Or a great big hug....

A true friend takes interest in
Understanding what you're all about....

They see beyond the black and white
To discover your true colors....

And accept you just the way you are.
Even when you just wake up in the morning

So make your own kind of music....

Follow your heart wherever it takes you....

And when someone reaches out to you,
Don't be afraid to love them back....

They may just be a friend for life....

Good friends are hard to find,
harder to leave.
And impossible to forget!

1. OMG, that was BEAUTIFUL.
You're a poet. I think this is the best animal thread I've ever seen. Plus, I totally agree with you.

:loveya:

Love the kitties poking out of the box.

8. Someone reached out to me recently...and I turned her down
and she was being nice and sincere, but I was an un-trusting bastard, and just shrugged off her affections. Sometimes I think I'm a rotten, heartless person ( although that is far from the truth ). I am just not trusting of others very easily....why the fuck am I even typing this?! ugh.

23. And so far as I can tell, it has been my fault ( and loss ) most of the time
although I'm not suffering for it or anything like that, it just makes me think " What if"?

What if makes people commit suicides sometimes, so that kind of thinking is dangerous....

Edited on Sun Sep-23-07 03:54 PM by Cabcere
and if you've been hurt before, it's very difficult to believe in the good intentions of others at first. I've been there, and I don't think it's about being a rotten, heartless person (which, from what I can tell, you're absolutely not! :)) - it's more about self-preservation, sometimes to an extreme. That's my experience, anyway.

Edited because I left out a word.

14. Self-preservation...god, I think that might be it
I get plenty of eyes, but I turn myself away from them. I haven't been hurt in the past, but I suppose that I'm not anxious to experience that first-hand. I don't know....yet, the pressure seems to be on me

Could not agree more!!!
