I worked for a company that was trying to enlist him as a spokesman for a client. He declined.

But what a kind gentleman he was. Class all the way. And I don't blame him for declining, the client was horseshit, but Ernie gave us the time of day.

Texas has lost a lot of talent to the NFL but Troy Aik- (a-hem!) Colt McCoy is one hell of a quarterback.

The nice thing about Texas-OU is that neither receive home field advantage.
