8. "The Bravery of Being Out of Range" by Roger Waters |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-24-07 09:16 PM by Cabcere
from Amused to Death, although I think you could make the case that a good bit of that album is inspired by Poppy and his goons. It definitely applies to Junior, too! :scared:
Edited to add: GHWB isn't actually mentioned by name at all, but the song is pretty much about him...does that count?

A fine, fine album from start to finish, nothstanding the presence of the incredibly awful Charles Fleischer.

The Foremen. Original version (1991): Our president worked for the Central Intell... igence Agency, and before that for Shell We know if he's lying, he's doing it well Yes, he studied popular phonics And he's learned the lessons of history... onicshttp://www.royzimmerman.com/lyrics/rest_shame.htmlRedux version (2004): George Bush, the Elder, rode into Iraq And gave 'em a taste of a Big Mac attack Climbed on his Hummer and said, "I'll be back!" Passing the peace-loving Saudis Tippin' their Stetsons and waivin' their howdy's
Then Bush, the Lesser, was eager to jump in He couldn't find Osama, he had to do sump'in To give himself somethin' to say when he's stumpin' People make fun of the POTUS But he doesn't mind, in fact, he doesn't notice http://www.royzimmerman.com/lyrics/security_saddam.html
