Zinc lozenges
So, I'm fighting off my cold. I got my Cold-eeze lozenges and a bottle of vitamin C, not to mention the requisite big glass to keep at my desk so that I can drink a lot of water.

I was in bed at 7:30 last night.

Zinc lozenges have a syrupy taste, which in itself is not too terrible, but the aftertaste makes everything you eat taste HORRIBLE.

This one is not going to last 2 weeks... no way

and i ended up waking up at 4:30am and i was sweaty--yuck. My left ear is killing me and i feel like crying.

Feel better MissMillie, hope you have a speedy recovery. Tonight i'm going back to Ny-Quil and hoping for the best.

2. hehehehe, I've actually used them to try to lose weight
It's amazing how you lose your appetite when everything tastes gross. I wish I was kidding because that's really a sad, sad eating-disordery sort of behavior.

3. Called in sick today
Slept like hell last night. I should go out and get some of the zinc things but then I would have to get dressed.

I'm battling day 4 of a cold right now. I suppose it's too late to take my cold-eeze losenges?

7. Take them, anyway.
Airborne Tablets really help.

Even though they work best within
the first 48 hours of symptoms, you
can take them anytime.

:hi:

9. Anyone use Zi-cam?.......
I'm just back to work after an (unwelcome) '3-day weekend' due to a cold. I took Zi-cam, Cold-Eze lozenges, and Theraflu geltabs. Sure, I was in a drug-induced haze for three days, but the cold is almost completely gone now. I just wonder which of those drugs actually did the trick.

rumor has it that Zi-Cam doesn't have that sucking on pennies aftertaste.
