Man, I hate dental issues. |
|
My husband has more problems with his teeth... He went to the dentist to get a molar yanked; he lost a filling and the tooth is just falling apart. The dentist looked at his x-rays and said he was too "scared" to pull it, because my husband has "A really big jaw" and his roots are long. Now he has to pay to go to an oral surgeon to get it pulled. I had a broken wisdom tooth pulled over the summer, and it took a regular dentist about two seconds to do it.
Aside from cleanings and x-rays, in the last ten years I've had ONE filling and ONE extraction. In the last YEAR or so, my husband's needed three root canals (still requires one)and an extraction. And I think he needs some fillings.
Bad genetics, I guess.
Ugh.

I hate them too, though my teeth are thankfully fairly maintenance free.
However, I went to the dentist a little over a week ago and I'm fairly convinced that my jaw is dislocated. Which means I get to go back. Whee. x(

I have a cracked tooth that needs to be seen, but until it starts bothering me, I'm ignoring it.

4. Umm.. you could be looking at a easy fix. |
|
Waiting could turn something simple and cheap into something that is really expensive and invasive.

5. I know. But I like to live on the edge. |
|
(Disclaimer: I'm afraid of dentists and their 'stuff' :scared:)

Get it fixed now or you could end up having to have a root canal.
Root canals are very expensive and not a lot of fun.
I used to be afraid of dentists, but I have realized that my fear was ignorance. I have been regularly seeing my dentist for the past 4 or 5 years pretty much pain free.
Do yourself a HUGE favor and make a dentist appointment.
Believe me, you can save yourself a lot of problems.

3. I was given my first disease diagnosis the other day by a dentist |
|
I guess brushing 2-3 times a day ain't enough. Getting your teeth cleaned at the dentist totally prevents what she said I have. Periodontal disease is what it is. She even went as far as saying it could be stopped in its tracks by a different type of dentist.
Too bad my insurance wont cover it. All in all.. I now know 2-3 teeth will fall out of my head 10 years from now because I didn't get them cleaned by evil dentists who hold you at bay in a chair and stick sharp instruments in your mouth. My front ones are safe.. hope I can fake it :D
Needless to say.. my daughter is going to get teeth cleaned soon.
