So I come home after my first day of school to find my SO hammered |
|
Because his buddy stopped by and they "had to" celebrate his renting a place here. :eyes:
I like his buddy, I don't care if they have a few drinks but they seem to think the only way to celebrate is to get blindingly drunk and obnoxious like frat boys - two 40-something guys who both have to work the next day.
And of course all this means that I don't get a chance to do my homework until I get them calmed down and put to frigging bed.
I hope to hell this isn't a portent of things to come because if it is, he can move in with the buddy and leave me the hell alone.
Just needed to vent. :nuke:

1. I'm sorry this happened for you . . . |
|
sounds totally rude to me - not to mention very infantile.
hope things improve and you don't have to go through this again.

2. Why calm them down and put them to frigging bed? |
|
I suggest you look for an Al Anon meeting. :hi:

1. A person who acts like a drunken moron once in a blue moon has automatically got a major problem.
2. The person who comes home to deal with it is the one who should go to a meeting.
I know you mean well and I suppose it wasn't all that clear in the OP - this is NOT a regular thing which is why I was so irritated. Just needed to rant. It sucks to get home at 9 pm after being in class for about 7 hours and find a pair of idiots carrying on.

Wanting a little peace and quiet doesn't make a codependent.

7. It is if it happens frequently, but if a buddy he hasn't seen came by |
|
with some beer, I see no problems with that. However, again, if this is a usual occurrence then it is a red flag!
