Oh Canada - Pictures from my trip to Montreal
This was a delayed celebration of our 25th anniversary.

We did a lot of just walking and shopping with no real plan
Park

Old City

You could smell the brewery

Near the river

We went to dinner at Au Pied de Cochon. If you watch Tony Bourdain this is the place he overdosed on foi gras. They also serve a pork chop that looked over 3" thick. Remember never eat anything bigger than your head

Oh my the wine was good

Did I order the right thing?

The Notre Dame Basilica. The altar is amazing but unfortunately it is very dark inside and hard to get good pictures

Statue in the square in front of Notre Dame

The former Olympic velodrome is now called the Biodome and has 4 complete North American ecosystems. I think the building looks like Tarkus from the Emerson Lake and Palmer album

The Botanical gardens have silk lanterns made with a different theme each year for the Chinese Gardens.

Relaxing at Place des Arts before hitting the Contemporary Art Museum

1. I think I stayed across the street from that park in Pic #2
Was that in the Villagy section not far from the University?

4. I found their metro to be very user friendly -
Did you get to go to the underground city at all?

2. The Montreal Botanical Garden is one of my favorites.
I go there every time I visit Montreal.

Very nice pictures. I'm glad you had a good time. :)

6. "Remember never eat anything bigger than your head"
That would probably explain why I'm a fat bastard.
