7. It probably won't be permanent.

My wife reads those Hollywood star magazines, and had to show me a story about House (I'm a big fan). Apparently the show has already signed contracts with four new actors to play the new House "team". While it's probable that the old team will show up for occasional cameos, it doesn't sound like they're coming back as permanent cast members.

I deliberately avoided looking the actors up. I don't want to know what they look like as they're introduced to the show, ESPECIALLY since it appears that he will be "whittling" them out of the larger group. Knowing who is going to win, in advance, would spoil the storyline. If you REALLY want to know who they are, I'm sure you can find it around the Internet somewhere. The only thing I remember for sure is that one of the actors was in 'Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle'. Nope, not joking.
