4. I got rid of the hide-a-bed and got a futon. |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 10:42 AM by KitchenWitch
We had the hide-a-bed, and another couch in the living room. I got a piano, and wanted to move it into the LR, so something had to go, and we didn't like the fabric on the hide-a-bed, so it had to go.
And on edit, the futon is in the guest room (we have a 4 BR house - 3 up and 1 down)

8. Which Ikea shelving did you go with? |
|
I'm seriously considering a small Besta configuration to hold my 42" LCD, assorted components, and some additional shelving Besta can be seen at http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/rooms/living_room/12150/

12. I got the towers in red! |
|
It was a leap of faith for me, but I really like the color now that they are built.

14. We have a lot of red in our house |
|
Our buddhist shrine is red, my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer is red, we have a gorgeous red area rug.
But our house is not garish.

15. Rich reds are never garish, nor are bright reds when used as accents |
|
My Kitchen Aid will be red (I plan on one before the holidays), I have plenty of reds, oranges, and browns around my house, I'm an earth-tone type of guy.
