Coming Monday, I'll be on my recent position for 5 years
:wow:

Time sure flies by.

I remember 5 years ago end of June I was invited for an interview. It went great. My back then to be boss told me not to expect any news before August because they have more interviews with other people. OK. I went on vacation to the U.S. for 3 weeks. When I got back home I was shifting through my mail, talking to my mom on the phone at the same time. She told me to give the library a call, letting them know I am still interested. Yeah OK, will do. Hang up the phone. Opened the next letter. "Dear MissHoneychurch, if you are still interested in switching from quiet country life to city life we are pleased to let you know you got the position" :woohoo: Called back my mom. "I got the job." "WHAT????????" "I got the job!!" Mom was more than excited. October 1st 2002 I started to work here. Haven't regreted it yet.

2. It feels good
if I don't totally screw up or decide to leave I can stay in that position till I retire ... which is still a long time away.

I love my job, I love my work place, I love the people I work with (most of them at least)

4. It is my second job
the first one I was for 3 years and I hated it. I was not happy. I enjoyed working with the customers but my bosses were sucking big time. So I am really happy that I got the job I am on now. Only reason for me to leave here is if I move away. But I also like Frankfurt so there is no reason to move away. Unless a sexy American comes over and snatches me away :)
