Watching Ghost Hunters on Wednesday 9/26/07
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 12:25 PM by Liberalynn
Not sure whether I believe or not but I still enjoy watching the series, and it premieres tonight.

Besides I refuse to be conformist and be told, that the new "Bionic Woman" is the most anticipated new show ever and that I should not miss it. I personally hope it flops, but it probably won't. Exaggerated Hype usually wins out nine times out of 10. I really prefer to decide what I want to watch all by myself.

Don't mean to be a downer, but ff the producer is so talented why can't he develop his "own ORIGINAL" concept instead of ripping off old shows he claims he has never even seen?

Sorry to his fans, I know there were many who liked the new "GALACTICA" but if he dislikes the campy corny classics so much he thinks they need to be redone why doesn't he just start with a clean slate and come up with his own concepts with original titles?

Yes, I confess the original BattleStar and Bionic Woman were two of my favorite shows growing up, and corny and campy though they were, that was part of their charm and they should be allowed to RIP!

Just a personal rant and my own personal opinion.

Michael Bay's entire career.

edit: To stay on topic, GH is at least mildly amusing most episodes.

3. LOL on Michael Bay!
Edited on Wed Sep-26-07 12:33 PM by Liberalynn
I was so glad Julian Mcmahon was not chosen to star in the Hitcher re-make which was I believe produced by Bay's company. All though I was sorry Sean Bean took it. After Lord of the Rings you would have thought he could have done better? ;)

With Galactica, I just couldn't get over the fact they made Starbuck a woman. YUCK. ;) Poor Dirk Benedict. I had a huge teenage crush on that man and Richard Hatch too. And Lindsay Wagner as Jamie was a childhood hero of mine.

You're right about the mildy amusing part on GH! I love how they pick on poor Brian. :)

5. Sean in The Hitcher
Yes, he's been in some real stinkers over the years. "Scarlett" comes to mind. :D

And often, he's the only reason to watch these trainwrecks. The only two reasons to watch The Hitcher are the motel room tussle and the car chase set to Closer.

It's almost enough to drive a real fan batty. But Sean's a self-professed workaholic so I cut him some slack on that. He's got three ex-wives and kids to support.

He's got a couple of good things coming up: Far North, set in the arctic circle with only two other Inuit women. It's gotten some really good festival play. And Oscar Wilde's A Woman of No Importance with (supposedly) Annette Benning, still in the planning stages.

I think his finacee had a baby. I like watching him too. He's like the underdog and the comic relief of the show. :)

don't remember about the baby, cause I sometimes (usually?) am only half paying attention... heh... but yeah I think he was on there and there was lots of 'are you going to apologize' drama. :P

A friend of mine swears anything on that show that seems to indicate paranormal activity MUST be faked... so... if you're like him, then certainly not.

16. They caught this at Eastern State Penitentiary.

They tried to recreate it, but the walkway was too small for anyone to move that quickly and smoothly down the walkway. Pretty interesting.

But I love it too for some reason. I think it would be neat to do that, like real life Scooby-Doo.

He's been replaced by David Wells, a cute, pudge guy who actually comes across as rather credible.

37. Oh, My GAWD
It is soooo bad! I ended up watching a couple of episodes because my 6 year old daughter loves paranormal stuff and asked for me to find a "ghost show" The infrared camera they use non-stop is painful... No one has iris's or pupils as part of their eyes - just glowing grey orbs.... Then they say stuff like "If you are there, can you say something?" I want to scream --

I just enjoy it quite a bit. I also would like to ghost hunt, all though if I actually saw one, I'd probably be joining them on the other side, because I'd probably die of fright.

9. I like ghost hunters
is the place haunted? mmmmmmmm I don't know, could there be paranormal activity, mmmmmmmaybe. I get the biggest laugh when they start tapdancing (get it taps :))around the question about whether whatever they are investigating is haunted.

Did you see the one where the ask this dinosaur toy to growl three times and it did. That was crazy.

NO interest at all in the bionic remake, but I don't miss an episode Ghost Hunters. :7

The drama and quirky personalities bother me from time to time, but I'm a sucker for ghost huntin & gagets.
