Is anyone else a fan of "Justice Leage Unlimited"?
I think it's one of the best dramatic cartoons out there right now, I was a fan of the Neo-Noir Batman Animated series of the 90's and JLU is just as good if not bettter at times.

Anyone else feel the same way?

1. I bought the first two seasons on DVD.
I don't watch TV anymore so I haven't seen any of season 3.

Are they still making episodes? What season are they up to?

17. There are moments where it gets as good IMO.
But yeah, Batman started it all. This show wouldn't even exist if Batman hadn't been so damn good as to warrant spinoffs.

6. Me!
And just a few days there was S*E*X in an episode. Dr. Fate tried to locate Luthor via a psychic resonance in the Flash. In the process, Luthor and the Flash swapped minds.

At one point, Tala drags Luthor (really Flash) off to her quarters. Later, she says something like "Lex, you were so different, so gentle, so considerate"

And when the real Luthor was back, she looked major disappointed.

Steamy cartoon sex!

8. ............
That episode was rather funny...I like the part, where Lex(in flash's body), takes off his mask, thinking he will at least find out the identity of the Flash, and says "I have no idea who this is".....:D

16. There was also an added irony in that episode.
The guy who does the voice of the Flash also plays Lex Luthor in Smallville... so for that episode, he was playing Lex Luthor once again.

43. And nobody recognizes the voice of The Joker from the DC cartoons...
Even I didn't, and I watched Batman for years. Just happened to notice a familiar name in the credits one day. And I couldn't believe what I saw, so I had to look it up online to make sure. :)

49. Yes, but that's not his normal voice
so I can understand that nobody recognizes the Joker as Mark Hammil. But the Flash doesn't have an exaggerated maniacal voice. :)

50. Yes, but I've always prided myself on my ability to recognize voices.
So when one sneaks by me like that, I figure it's easier to say that's damn good voice acting than to admit that I suck at figuring out whose voice it is.

So far he and Rob Paulsen are the only voice actors who have snuck by me so easily. And Hamill got me a second time, because he also does the voice of Solomon Grundy in Justice League. So once again, I noticed his name in the credits, but this time I didn't think twice. Until I turned off the TV, started to walk away and then said, "Wait a minute... Joker wasn't in that episode. Why the hell was his name in the credits?" :P

7. I think its great, I got the
first two seasons of the Justice League, and the following three seasons of Justice League Unlimited...The most impressive thing they did, was bring in lower tier DC hereos, and make them relevant aka The Question, Hawk/Dove, etc etc....

I wish they made more seasons, I miss them greatly! They were doing such a damn good job too. Currenlty, I'm trying to get all three seasons of Superman the Animated series, and getting all of the Batman Beyond, and Batman the Animated Series dvd sets...its hard for me to find them(I'm not a big fan of ordering online).

23. "For the Man Who Has Everything" is my absolute favorite episode
A superlative adaptation of the classic Alan Moore story, wherein Superman is whisked to his own personal paradise vis-a-vis a parasite--leaving Batman and Wonder Woman with the unenviable task of stopping Mongol (voiced by Eric Roberts). It may be the most intense episode in the entire Timm-verse.

29. I wish they had made that a two-parter. Could've fit all the aspects of the comics story.
Mainly, the social and political strife in Krypton. That was the best part of the comic. Oh, and Mongul's dream world too.

Also, they could have included the Flash to play Robin's part. I would have made him bring an autographed action figure of himself as a gift.

After their throwdown, Lex drags Grodd into the airlock.

Lex: "It could have gone either way."
Grodd: "It really could have, couldn't it?"
Lex: "No. But why speak ill of the dead?"

And he opens the damn airlock.

set when Bruce is too old to do the Batman thing, but someone else steps into the costume. Pretty good series too. I got a little sniffly at the end of the episode when Mr. Freeze came back.
