I'm going down to the crick to smoke some crawdad
But first I need a little pot.

I couldn't find the picture I wanted so this will have to do.
Great talented woman Irene Ryan.

3. The episode that was in
was when Jethro was playing Robin Hood in the park with the hippies and granny was after him for taking all the food. The cops asked her what she was doing when she spoke those lines, that's cracked me up for years.

2. There was a rumor going around
when I was a kid that Irene Ryan was actually younger than
Donna Douglas, but the makeup was convincing. Kids.

5. Granny had the exact same mannerisms and attitude as my own Granny
In fact, my granny refused to attend my father and mother's wedding because my dad was marrying a Yankee.

Yes, she carried a shotgun while out in the woods and a .38 in her purse. Tough woman and I miss her everytime I see the Beverly Hillbillies.
