I knew it! My Dad has scabies!! |
|
Ok, my Dad had this killah rash all over his body, that he got soon after leaving the hospital, after an extended stay. He got himself admitted to the hospital a few days ago, b/c it was driving him crazy and he couldn't take it anymore...Diagnosis: Scabies! I *knew* it!
Thank gawd that I wore gloves every time I treated his skin a couple weeks ago, as well as when I emptied his catheter bag, etc. It's been two weeks and I have no symptoms, and I'm praying that I dodged it, since I also changed his bedding w/out gloves, and the incubation period is 2-6 weeks. I'm freaking out. :scared:
Hope for me that I don't get it, people....Ew. Just ew. I swear that hospitals make you sicker. x(

If a person is sick, the hospital is the last place a person should be.

Poor guy, bad enough being sick but to get that on top of it has to be awful.
And I do hope you don't get them.
