Does anyone know how to remove gum from car paint? |
|
When we were driving to Minnesota, my cousin spit his gum out the window and it got on the door handle. Boy was I pissed when I found it. These people treated my car like it was their own, so there is crap all over it. Most of it is gone but some still remains. It is hard and brittle now so maybe it will come off when I wash it but if it doesn't, does anyone know a safe way to get it off without damaging the paint? I've heard of something called Goo-Gone but it doesn't say anything about using it on painted surfaces. I've also heard WD-40 works but I am afraid of using that.
Thanks.

you can also get something at the auto store called bug and tar remover, that should do it too.
