I have never needed iPod help more than at this very moment ..please!?

Why has my ipod shown this stupid display for the last 5 hours? :



It seems to happen every. single. time
I try to recharge it on my husband's Mac.
Naturally, he has no problems, whatsoever, when he recharges the iPod.

What am I doing wrong? What?!!

Please help... please?

I desperately need my music!!

You know I wouldn't ask if I didn't need assistance. All the info.apple.com site says is to not disconnect it. D'oh! :banghead:

If it is, disconnect and it will work fine. My daughter's ipod does that and when we disconnect it, works just fine. I have no clue how to solve the issue of that message, but no worries, it's fine.

If it's not a serious question, I fell for this. I'm new to the lounge and happen to be quite the thread killer. x(

3. That used to happen to me

The best thing you can do is just buy a charger that you can plug into the wall. When the "do not disconnect" sign appears, it IS charging, but if you disconnect it there is a small chance of losing data.
