9/28 AM Update On Stacey. Things Getting Worse. (Oops, Posted In GD First Time)

I'm going to keep this one short. After having to take care of some things at home, I'm finally able to run out of here and go see her. She's not doing very well. Her ventilator settings are on their max and her O2 Saturation is only 91-92, and once it drops more there's nothing they can do. Nothing is fighting this thing and it's only getting worse. The pneumonia is winning, and it's killing me.

I wanted to post some short videos of her from only a few weeks ago, as she was going through her fight with breast cancer. She wanted me to videotape her 'journey' and these videos are clips that I was supposed to put on her cancer blog, but then all this stuff happened.

This is the first one below. It is a little over 3 minutes long and is her getting her first chemo. You all have been so great through this and I know some of you feel attached to our family. I thought it would be good that you can see her, hear her, as she was. Watch how cute she is, how strong, how positive, how absolutely amazing. I love her so much, and you'll see why.

I gotta go. I'll upload another one later. But for now, here's the first (the audio is out of sync a bit and the quality isn't the best, as I'm no good at this whole conversion thing. But it should do):

All I can tell you is that you need to look after your own well-being. I know there are no platitudes that will make you feel better. It's horrible and there is no way to minimize that. I'm very sorry and hope you can survive this.

Continue to be strong for her and the kids, but then make sure you find good shoulders to cry on - in person as well as here, where you know we are all pulling for her and for you. When my son was going through chemo, I would sometimes go out into the stairwell at the hospital, just sit there by myself and cry. I just had to let it out, in order to be able to go another few minutes or another few hours showing strength on the outside.

I won't stop thinking about you and Stacey and the kids today - and we're all trying to send strong, healing thoughts, so do your best to feel those coming to you all. :grouphug:
